Tale of A Tub Thinking activity

Based on a Novel, Tale of A Tub, I've written a poem that challenges the mentality of people who have divided society into multiple sections, based on gender.

I'm not what you think,

I'm someone whom in womb you kill.

Doesn't matter a girl or boy,

Do remember we can play with the same toy.

In this world we talk of choice,

Then why I'm silenced before I've my voice?

Pink for girls and the boys are blue,

Why do we even consider it true?

Colours are universal I bet,

We haven't considered that yet.

Symbolising my body to a figure of clay,

I will remain nothing but a thing to play.

Don't bother if I'm too thick or thin,

Judge me for who I am within.

I pray,safe and sound I stay,

And not looked upon as a prey.
